Your favourite metal bands and why?

Hi in this thread you can post your favourite band and explain why they you like them for whatever reason you have. You can post as many bands as you want but I'll post just 3 of mine:

1. Megadeth - because I like their aggressive and technical music and they are inventors of Thrash Metal
2. Metallica - Same as above
3. Symphony X - great riffs and solos in many of their songs and good melody

Watain - A black metal band that focuses on song writing and melody, instead of just atmosphere and intensity.

Rhapsody - Good muscianship, catchy/memorable songs, and fantasy based lyrics.

Yeah I completely agree with you on Rhapsody, really memorable music.
