I have not really cared for the 3 Symphony X albums I've heard, and I left one of the headlining gigs a few years back after 3-4 songs.

But this new album (minus the couple ballads) is quite excellent-- picked it up last night.

I have not really cared for the 3 Symphony X albums I've heard, and I left one of the headlining gigs a few years back after 3-4 songs.

But this new album (minus the couple ballads) is quite excellent-- picked it up last night.

Symphony X are top notch live, don't know why anyone wouldn't like it. And, the ballad-ish songs are great. Not pure ballad, but just plain Sym X pwnage.
