Anyway, the studio bass finally arrived today. So I have something to track the guitar tone comp bass with finally. Will give the intonation a look over when I get a moment... so far though the factory set-up plays like a dream.

Bear in mind this is me taking it out of the box and playing. Literally no set-up, no string change or anything. Apparently the stock strings are Elixirs, and they feel relatively new. Not brand spanking, but maybe a few hours play at most, if that.

I included a bunch of different versions, from flat, all the way through bass EQ, and various bits of outboard processing on the way in.

I will give you the same warning that everyone else has given me and each other about this desk, the monitor on top sits extremely high. So make sure you have a comfy chair that sits up rather high or you will get neck pains from looking up all the time.
