Yep, 8100 THE valvestate (Death, lots of Jacob Hansen stuff etc)

I have a Valvestate 8200(only difference is the chorus IIRC), and it's a cool amp to have lying around the rehearsal space when my other amps are somewhere else... That's about it I realize that it has been used quite a bit in the early 90s, and it sounds pretty decent for a solid state amp, but that's pretty much what I can say about the amp... It does have it's sound though, and it's cheap, so I don't suppose that you could go wrong with it.

Edit: Let us know if you dig it and manage to get some great tones from it!

First two sevendust record's where done with a 8100 and that tone is fucking heavy!!! always wanted an 8100 for the studio
