Stay Metal!

I hope they give you the 7.5 update for free then. I think it comes out really soon, like days.

It's been a while since I posted about my upgrades.
First things first: Kemper Profiler PowerRack!!! HOLY SHIT, it's so much love!

Also got a brand new Maxon OD-808, now I have three "musthave" Maxon OD pedals: 808, 820 and OD-9. I like that they use a standard switch now and that the power socket is not a minijack as on the older versions.

And a couple months ago I bought an amazing 6 string Warwick Corvette Bubinga from our ex-bass player:

Now GASING for something fretless:)

FG-X – I think I need some practice with it before I can say that I love it over my TB Barricade.

Slate RC Tube – So awesome

EZX Metal! – Haven't played around with it too much but I look forward to experimenting with the Bergstrand kits on some doom-ier, slower stuff.

Heavyocity Evolve – I have been wanting this forever; I'm using it primarily for my dark ambient projects and film sound design. Thank you NI black friday sales.

The only thing that has disappointed me so far has been the FG-X, but from what I've researched, I think I just need to get some more experience with it first... and maybe control my low-end better...

I'm curious how much different the Metal EZX sounds from Metal Machine other than the included midi.. I noticed Metal has a comp channel but no reverb, and only 1 snare chan. MM has verb but not comp. Interesting..

For my bedroom setup, so I can re-amp through my Kemper and write/ record on the laptop without having to go to the studio…

and VBC whilst it was cheap:
