Yep it's ebony... I actually bought it without ever having played a warlock before.
And it has to be one of the most comfortable guitars I ever ever held, even though it's full 25.5" scale, it actually feels like less of a stretch to the first frets than on my EC-1000.

Total impulse purchase when I went to order a Schecter Loomis. Saw this hanging there, used, for $399 CAD. How could I not? Even caked with fretboard grime, and the deadest strings (possibly the originals), it plays and sounds great.

Too bad the previous owner didn't take care of it, some scratches in the fretboard, fret wear, but overall, pretty good condition, I've been wanting one of these for a while! The girlfriend even encouraged me to get it... awesome!

J&R in NYC had a brand new Sennheiser MD421-II on "blowout" for $220! Someone had given me a $100 gift card to J&R a while back, so I walked out with that bad boy for $120! Pretty sweet. I've always wanted a 421, and I can't wait to try it out.
