Do you go to school or university? Do you work? Are you jobless?
How do you spend your days? It seems that some of you hang out here all days and nights...

As to me, I´m a 2nd year student at the University of Helsinki.
My main subject is chemistry...(wow!!!)

well, i normally work construction. but what i do is somewhat seasonal, and i'm currently laid off. which in a way is good, cuz it gives me a lot of time to write songs and practice. especially where i just dropped about $2000.00 on gear, i'm having fun. but i think i'm beginning to get a little stir crazy.

Project Manager at a consulting firm.

We are in dire need of more clients! If you're interested in our services, let me know :D

Edit: Damn, since I didn't get permission from my company to post a link, I am prohibited to do so, and I had to remove the link. Oh well.

So you had long "holidays". For me the semester started on January 2nd :D with laboratory...

I am a senior in high school without a part-time job like a lot of people have. I have thought about getting a job on the weekends or something just to have a little extra cash, but I enjoy not having to do much. I plan to go to college next year but haven't decided what I will major in.

slingblade, I have always somewhat wondered about construction. I have noticed a lot of construction workers have long hair. One day my brother told me that a lot of musicians work construction because they don't have to be in an office and have extra time to rehearse. I don't know if I could handle it all the time. That's interesting, though.

Also highschool student (sophomore) with no part time job, although I'm probably getting one over the summer, and maybe into next year, it's not as if I have a life to be interrupted by work

I have no clue what I will do after highschool, and I only have two years left to figure it out, I hate making decisions and deciding your future, it's so hectic

A guy from the Air Force came to one of my business classes and talked one day. That is definitely the branch of the military I would go into if anything. They give you your own apartment and have really good food, and you never actually have to fight because most of the people stay away from war situations except the pilots, which only make up about 2% of the AF.

They do pay for your college. They have different colleges wherever you are stationed. You can do whatever field you want and only have to enlist for 4 years while you get your college education. He said the technical careers are really good because the Air Force has the latest technology, and if you went into the real world looking for a job you'd find one instantly. He said they have tech companies calling them all the time looking for people getting out because they are so skilled and know the latest equipment.

It was definitely very persuasive, and I would consider it if I had to pay for my college on my own. Luckily, my dad and grandparents have saved money for a while to pay for my college education, which I am not particularly looking forward to. :heh:

I'm a first-year full-time student at Sussex University in Brighton, UK.. My course is Computer Systems Engineering.. do u really care anyway? :p
