There, that's 25 I think. No order and it'd change easily and drastically tomorrow or in 10 minutes. A few obvious inclusions would remain fixed.

Ok... I'm gonna try and build this up starting with a couple of albums, don't know if I'll be able to finish it. It's much harder now than it would have been a few years ago. But I'd probably laugh at some of my choices now.

The list:

Devin Townsend - Ocean Machine
Scott Walker - The Drift
Ulver - Shadows of The Sun
Ihsahn - After

Ocean Machine and Shadows of The Sun are easy, cause they are simply my most listened albums by those artists, which are both in my top 10... The Drift is different though. As out of all the Scott Walker albums I have, I've listened to it the least. In fact, 4 complete plays, I think. But you know what, with that album, once or twice a year is enough for me. And it's amazing.

Ihsahn's After was probably my favourite album of last year so I added it as well atleast for the time being. Might hold a place in my top 25 of all time, not sure.

However I order this, it probably won't end well :tickled:

We have very similar taste!

That Fate's Warning album keeps coming up... should I pick this album up, or what?

I have the live video of it. Its good but not like number one good. It equals Scenes from a Memory to me.

And does anyone else notice this site is running VERY VERY slow tonight and you keep getting logged off? I think god is telling me to get off lol.

That Fate's Warning album keeps coming up... should I pick this album up, or what?

I have never understood any fascination with Fate's Warning...lame and amateur to my ears...and the singer! ugh! :puke:

I find them discombobulated...messy compositions with mediocre performances. Parallels is the only album I can stomach musically and it is still uninspiring...hanging on the coattails of Queensryche by attempting a more accessible approach (pop-like).

BTW...not much of a fan, but Scenes from a Memory is musically on another planet compared to any Fate's Warning.
