Holy shit, Gar Samuelson died in 1999.....man, I did not know this.

Gar Samuelson, original Megadeth drummer, died at his home in Orange City, Florida on Wednesday, July 14, 1999. Cause of death was undiagnosed complications to the liver.

As the original drummer for MEGADETH, Gar Samuelson not only taught the speedmetal world how to swing, he also convinced leader Dave Mustaine that the future of metal lay in political commentary, not satanic cliches. Gar was right.

Then we had fear factory, while a charasmatic frontman, and quality reproduction, they had the volume on the drums too high and overall played their worst songs, imo. wtb some demanufacture. 20 minute break followed. I went and spent 20 bucks on bear. $5.75 a cup. fuck.

It's a shame that Megadeth rule when playing live now, and NOT when they were on top of the world. They had the worst sound PA / roadies in existence through to the Cryptic Writings tour. Some shows were phenomenal, others were just downright flea-ridden.

I suppose Mustaine spent all the tour money on smack.
