9/11

Here's this guy's website.

Rogue angels chiffon my nights, twelve arms flailing,

Those long whispers of limbs that curl a pale blood around my throat.

They are maddened by my breath, as constant as God’s bare foot.

I saw their burning flesh drop and felt the slow vibration of death,

A hum-drone known to the ages.

Jet fuel streamed under the lime-stripe of a firecoat, poof!

Then I ate them, I swallowed their stardust exploding on glass,

One hundred freight trains crashing.

Come tonight, I’ll cream your skin and feed you cowfoot and beans.

There will be a love song, then you could find my keys and my checkbook and maybe

In my room everything would feel new, like a red birth or a

Muscled and panting fish gill, or just green grass that serves as a bed

For dragonflies.

If not, we'll talk about it when I get there.

beautiful! :waah:

I always thought it was wierd that it took stuff like people flying planes into buildings to get America to be "patriotic". Where was all this patriotism on 9/10/01?

As a child I was patriotic, I then grew up and realized that I have nothing in common with the negars, faggots, and filthy degenerate beggers that fill this land. I have an ultra-conservative friend who is so beyond patriotic it is unbelievable.

Him: Baseball sucks
Me: What are you a communist?
Him: I like sports where there's actual contact.
Me: Then why don't you go watch rugby.
Him: No I mean american sports.

Another snippet...

Me: Fuck gas prices are through the roof.
Him: Ya I know, but it's worth it to live in the greatest country on earth

Me: Yea I just seen a cool Japanese flick the other day.
Him: What the fuck are you watching that subtitled shit for? You watch some weird movies!

I'm not real patriotic, but by no means am I an anti-american assmode. :)

all kidding aside, it was a very rough time in NYC after 9/11 and today is was pretty somber to remember it all. maybe because for the last few years it fell on weekend days and it was not a real reminder ... but today it was creepy in the city.
took a trip to Ground Zero tonight before coming home from the office ...

new yorkers are going about it exactly the right way. the wonks who run the TV networks think showing the towers collapsing several dozen times is honoring the dead. fuck that!! that's like watching a video of your dead kid getting hit by a bus every year on his birthday.
