I am stunned to see so many people pick Metallica's "And Justice For All". I usually like to hear the bass guitar in recordings, and this CD is lacking it.

None. No such thing, for me. There's lots of album I love, but I wouldn't consider any of them to be 100% perfect.

I think I have to second that. But if I had to name one I'd chose Pink Floyd's Darkside Of The Moon.

But there are some examples of PERFECT Songs, and Opeth made some of those.

3. IMMOLATION - Unholy Cult - incredible. I have never thought you can play like this

I wouldn't say that ANY album is 100% perfect, but that all depends on how you describe perfect I spose.
The albums that are almost perfect in my book are:

Opeth - Still Life, Morningrise, and both Deliverance & Damnation.
Deliverance took me a while to get into, but after seeing the songs live and constant repeat listens, its fast becoming my most played Opeth record. Damnation is just sheer mellow brilliance, some of that album I would call perfect. And Still Life, well, all I have to say is The Moor, Benighted and Face Of Melinda. One of the best records ever made. Period. Morningrise is atmosphere plus, technicaly not as awe-inspiring as their later albums, but that accoustic work. wow. To Bid You Farewell, one of my favourate songs of all time (as you might've already noticed)

Tool - Ænima & Lateralus.
Basicaly, if you don't own these albums you deserve to be hung, drawn, and quartered. They have the best vocalest in the world in MJK and Danny Carey is not human he's a freekin' octopus. Superior in every way, they have no peers except for Opeth as far as consistantly incredible albums and songs.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here.
I know everyone probably goes for DSOTM as far as their best album, but this one takes the cake. Shine On You Crazy Diamond..that intro..wow.
I also rate The Final Cut pretty highly, not for it's technical songwriting but for sheer unadulterated emotion. Waters poured his heart and soul into this album, and you can tell.

Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde.
Was to songwriting what Hendrix was to the gueetar.The man is an absolute lyrical genius (well duh) :Spin: He was basicaly a poet with an accoustic and a harmonica. 'Tombstone Blues' and ' Highway 61 Revisited' have the most insanely obscure yet brilliant lyrics I have ever heard.
