I mean, I can obviously tell that they were talented musicians, but their music isn't my cup of tea. They are too soft, bluesy, and upbeat for me, and most of their lyrics are about girls and sex.

Am I the only one here that doesn't like Led Zeppelin?
True. But it also that for some reason heavily blues based music doesn't appeal to me that much, except for Black Sabbath.Donnie Darko said:I love Zeppelin and not all their songs are about girls/sex.
Yeah, I like all Ozzy era Sabbath. Some people might find it odd that I like Sabbath but not Zeppelin, but the two bands are very different.Donnie Darko said:Black Sabbath \m/
If nothing else, you owe it to yourself to listen to Dark Angel's cover on the "Leave Scars" album.Life Sucks said:Can't say I've ever heard that song.
So at least one person shares my view.AsModEe said:I don't really care for Led Zeppelin, not my cup of tea at all.
I'll give you a hint, the songs that you hear on the radio are their worst, those songs were written for the radio. Gallow's Pole, Kashmir, In The Light, When The Levee Breaks, Trampled Underfoot, Rain Song, The Ocean, and No Quarter are some of my favorites. Houses of The Holy was an excellent album, and In Through The Outdoor is very underrated.Life Sucks said:It's just that hard rock/cock rock isn't my cup of tea. Also, lyrics like "Baby the way you move I'm gonng make you sweat l'm gonna make you groove" piss me off.
