OVA's are straight to DVD partial series. Sometimes they're remakes, sometimes they're extensions of series. In Hellsing's case, it's a reimagining.

As for ordering online, I have no clue as for your area. Most of the distro's I know of won't ship outside of the US due to licensing restrictions. There's probably some distro in your area, google.

ANyway, on the subject of Anime films that are amazing, if you people haven't seen Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time), do. Another excellent film.

geez i watched anime all day yesterday and i still have a shit ton to watch. I downloaded a few seasons of Black Lagoon, I still have to finish Ergo Proxy and I was watching a bunch of Elfen Leid.


I have the Hellsing Ultimate OVA 1 & 2 I should watch again....well guess what I'm doing all day lol.

I was thinking how I haven't seen Spirited Away since 7th grade Japanese class "I'm still decent in Japanese, it's my best non English language". Anyway, I want to see that movie shroomed out or on acid and I've wanted that for so long.

I have not, surprisingly. I always ignored it because Akira sounded so generic. It was first priority on Eric's list though, so I decided to watch it. But then I noticed last night they took down anime6.org so I will wait or something.

Akira wasn't that bad, to be honest. It was the anime that made anime big in the United States which is why it's 'generic'. Most people who say that they watch anime have only seen Akira.....or Princess Mononoke, now even Spirited Away. I know a few people like that.
