I have reached episode 34 of bleach....



John if you want a great anime watch bleach. I'm so hooked on this that I can't stop watching it....and my girlfriend, who doesn't watch anime DEMANDS i download more episodes because she loves it so much.


I have the 1st season on DVD....but hurray for living in Wyoming I can't find any store that sells anime.
 
Bleach gets a little meh around ep80
then around 110 its gets a little bit better but this doesnt last long...
i stopped watching around 150

the first season was freakng awesome though
 
The same way L gave probabilities Steve I give it a 10% chance Travis has something going on with my other friends girl. And it's raising like L's suspicion of Light being Kira.
 
I can't bring myself to watch Anime's like Bleach or Naruto, 1: Too popular with the weaboo kids in my college, 2: Too happy and colourful, I know they've got ninjas and shit but overall it looks too childish.

But then again my knowledge of Anime is hardly extensive, I just enjoyed all the standard shit like Hellsing, Ghost in The Shell: SAC, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Akira etc etc.

yeah i agree with the statement made by Swabs...Bleach and Naruto got overkilled and when that happens it chases me away...i know i shouldnt let it but usually when it comes to anime, if its overrated, i dont tend to enjoy it... :(
 
I thought the same thing about Bleach. It's not as "childish" as you think, and compared to Naruto, it's like a porno. Bleach along the lines has a great storyline, but it's also humorous at times which I think makes it overall a great anime. Bleach really does have it's moments. If your watching the English versions then I can understand why you think it's childish. I watched the 1st season on DVD (20 episodes) and after that I needed more. I thought exactly how you 2 felt before watching it but once I gave it a chance I was hooked.


Right now I been watching Black Lagoon, god I want to put it in Revy's bum soooo bad.

Inuyasha seemed very childish, but I heard it was the opposite in the jap versions, but Bleach and Naruto are 2 different things, even Full Metal Alchimest is less childish then Naruto. But then again, anime transfered over to America is edited and watered down so much it almost sickens me. It seems like they try to do their best to edit the anime to reach digital broadcasting standards.

I don't know people have their own opinions but Bleach surprised me. You might like it or not but once I got half-way through the 1st season I couldn't stop.
