I'd love to learn cello. I used to wish that I could backtrack and take that up instead, but oh well. I don't really like playing Flute in a symphony orchestra but it's awesome for solo/chamber music.

Hey, I'm a Canadian, and I knew more girls from back home (Pacific-Northwest, not so culturally removed from the OC) who were into metal than here (I've lived in the Netherlands for about 7 months now).

I would still say that making such a gross generalization ("all girls who like metal had sexually deviant fathers") is not only utterly unfounded, but kind of... um... bizarre. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

but regardless you morons are looking at what im saying WAYYY too literally. the point im really trying to get across is the majority of the time, female metalheads have issues and problems of one nature or another, which led them to following a path of such irregularity and necessary "strong" independence. whether its sexual, mental, chemical, situational or whatever else...something is usually missing or unstable. thats all im saying. ive known SOOO many female metalheads and have gotten enough proof from just about all of them to base my generalizations on that fairly accurately...without needing to know YOUR life story or the few other girls you met who probably had some secrets you werent aware of, or didnt take much notice of probably due to a mutual understanding and common experience. Either way, i dont REALLY care, for im not perfect either, and neither are most metalhead guys as well...everyone is going against the grain here for one reason or another, male or female, i wasnt trying to alienate a single sex. the topic at hand though was "female opeth fans"...thus my "wrong" generalizations a few of you seem SO certain of.
