Bands that you love but nobody eles likes.

Not the shameful ones like Barbara Streisand or Barry Manilo, or the obscure ones like Fantomas or Yakuza.
I'm talking Metal-ish bands that don't get you alot of Metal-cred, if you know what I mean. The ones, you think people should give a second look.
For me it's:
Korn
..and also
Rob Zombie and Rammstein.
I know there's alot of people who do like the last two... but there's an equal amount of people who dismiss them.

KIX, Greatwhite, Lynch Mob, Tesla and other hard rock\street glam bands from the 80s that sometimes but shouldn't really get lumped in with the hair bands.

And, if seriously, - an old scottish band called Nazareth. Their '75 "Hair Of The Dog" was probably the heaviest album of the year.

I LOVE THAT RECORD, but I don't know anoybody who shares my love (for that record).

Btw. remastered edition (Mustaine on vox) sucks.

TNT. I thought they were a second rate hair band in the 80s (and still do) but their last 2 albums have been awesome. (Check out "Give Me A Sign" from "My Religion")

Slipknot (I like half of their debut album I'd say; Iowa is a hell of a metal record; I only like a few or so songs off their 3rd, songs like Welcome and The Nameless)

Arctic Monkeys

Dream Theater (a lot of people don't like DT, but they're one of my favorite bands, amazing music)

Metallica (specifically, I really like Load and Reload, I hate the black album, I can't stand it)

Mr. Bungle (some people just don't get them )
