Most of these posts are pointless....all of the bands people have named were never respected in the metal industry, or were even called metal....Yeah, I hate all that poppunk shit, but surely we should be talking about metal bands here....and I don't mean metal wannabes like Slipknot...

Mayhem : Boring, sounds like it was recorded in a toilet. Infact, it probably was.

Darkthrone : Again, bore me to hell, really poor shitty sound. Pure crap.

Tool : Their "music" does nothing for me. Pointless

Most Pop-Punk : simple reasons...

Hip-Hop : *shudders*

Iron Maiden : Dont like the vocals, too cheese for me.

I really have always hated Dying Fetus and the rest of the new school Death Metal bands. Based on MOST newer DM bands I can't even say I'm a fan of death metal anymore, and it used to be the majority of what I was buying, years ago. Annoying slam riffs with corny burp vocals that almost sound like an attempt at death rapping...throwing in six string arpeggios does not make it musically viable. Its become a joke to me, certainly not the same thing it seemed to be when you bought Human or Left Hand Path.
