I just checked out Quo Vadis tonight. That band was fucking SICK!

The perfect mix of technicality, melody and aggressiveness.

One of the bass players for that band is in Beyond Creation and I saw him this past Saturday. Fucking sick.

Yeah man, Steve Digiorgio did bass on the Defiant Imagination album and they fucking nailed it with him. He was awesome.

I seriously miss that band, I wish they'd release a new album soon. Fuck.

Not sure if he's considered one of the best, but Martin Kearns of Bolt Thrower has a degree of precision that I think is unmatched by most drummers today.

Since I got a kit, I've taken an appreciation for drummers that hit the kit super hard, so I'm updating my list to include:
