Brewing

Don't know yet, but I hope so

Exciting!
In which part of Gothenburg your sassafras brew will be? Watched some photos now of Gothenburg again, nice, and my first penfriend, Anita Svensson or so, (when I was 13 or so) guess, was from there.:)

I like portwine.

Well, it's brewed and currently fermenting in my house, sort of around here:

The location for the tasting/meeting/competition will be:

Indeed, tasting Gnoff's sassafras in Fräntorps Folkets Hus would be quite a nice occasion for learning to know Gothenburg! I will recommend it to some friends. But Sweden is expensive as hell, isn't it?! When I saw some prices, I thought 'alter Schwede!' (transl. old Swede, exression of astonishment)

My mom has requested that I teach her how to brew beer over x-mas when I go for a visit.

I have a cool mom :D

---

December 10 is only 3½ weeks away, will taste my sassafras porter on Friday or so, to see if it has enough co2 and is ready to be chilled.

24 beers signed up for the December 10 homebrew competition in Gothenburg on December 10, sweet, should be a good night

The Sassafras porter after 2 weeks was not enough co2, and only hints of sassafras, also very dry and bitter.

One week later is started getting better, so in another 2 weeks I hope for a huge sassafras character to have fun with all those tasters at the competition :kickass:

24 beers! And the maybe the sassafras!:hotjump: Everybody should go there! Andybody going there? Gazza, already booked?

44 beers signed up for the competition :eek:

In a normal Swedish championships there's 80 to 100 beers entered into "people's choice", so in this "small" local competition we'll have about half :loco:

Guess we'll all wake up rather tired on Sunday?
