Well, here's the deal (good point, I got to put map up - why the fuck I integrated Google maps anyway? EDIT: the construction is so new, the place isn't mapped on Google, bah!):
the place is situated near a major seaside resort (15 minutes or so, major highway - Garden State - is a couple minutes away by car, at that section it's almost never backed up, in fact, it ends 10 miles south, where the resort - Cape May, NJ - is). So, this house is not really to live in for anyone - I see it as an investment property or some kind of high-shot living, but not for people who live and work in the area.
For comparison: something like this in very Cape May/Wildwood (another resort) would be worth around $1 mil, but as no expert I can only guess. For instance - new condominiums on the oceanfront (not individual homes) were about $900k each.
It's hard to get a house in the Center City, but something close to it 1 block away from me - I live in the Rittenhouse Square (Center City Philly) neighbourhood... here are some prices (1-2 mil), but my guess would be about 1.5 mil average, and I'm talking about an apartment, NOT house.

Manhattan - think of a 2-bedroom/1-bath apartment to be around $1 million +/-
I'm thinking of a 1-bed/studio apartment nearby where I live, something from 120k to 180k, but in next 4-5 years, not sooner.
