Christian Metal

No. He was his son.And he had another mission than churches.
And no - church isnt the Body of Christ. Not for me.

"For there is one God, and one MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Tim. 2:5).
"And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the CHURCH, which is his BODY, the fulness of him that filleth all in all" (Eph. 1:23).
"And I say also unto thee, that thou are Peter, and upon this rock I will BUILD MY CHURCH; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18).

Indirectly it means I should do some more digging before expression my opinions about it. I suggest you do the same.
No. It actually meant that you had to shut up about things that you dont know a damn about.
But hey, I see theres no need to tell you anything. Seems like you're not that good at understanding. So do what you want. I dont give a fuck.

There are also better ways to express your opinions then being a total asshole about it. No one here tries to shove religion down your throat, so the least you can do is not shove your anti-christian bullshit down our throats. Thinking that being an "antichrist" makes you more metal is what 16 year olds believe. Real, mature men who've grown up past 7th grade learn to live with everyone else and not bitch and moan because people are different.

Neither do I. So why do you believe in Christianity at all then? We have no evidence for Christ and his teachings whatsoever outside of the New Testament. And if that is not trustworthy (which it isn't) then why believe it at all? In other words if you can't trust the New Testament which constitutes our earliest source for the life and teachings of Jesus then you can't really know anything about Jesus. In which case how can you possibly believe in him being God's Son, or the Messiah, etc.?

I was clearly exaggerating with the antichrist thing. This is a metal forum after all, stop the political correctness.

Maybe faith? It may not seem logical to some, but no one can say with 100% certainty what is true and what is not. Also, I find some of your statements to be somewhat inaccurate. I know you're not a Christian and you have some resentment towards the belief, but have you ever looked at www.christian-thinktank.com? I don't pretend to be a scientist or a historian, but I've read plenty of books, seen plenty of articles and I do believe a man named Jesus did exist. Whether or not he was God is up to personal faith though.

I believe in God. Of course I cant be sure in anything ppl or books say about Jesus. Thats really difficult question for me and often I just dont know the answer and dont know how to explain my opinion. But I do believe. There were times when only God was with me. And just a grace could save me and somebody who I was worry about. And it has.
Now thank you for making me sound gay...

A personal faith that was brought to the people through the New Testament. Neurotica makes as much sense as someone who believes in Bilbo Baggins but denies The Lord of the Rings as a whole.

Yes but millions have "faith" that the Angel Gabriel spoke to Muhammed God's Word and that Word is the Koran. So just because you "feel in your heart that it's true" it doesn't mean it is.
Yes I have seen that website before and actually I believe that Jesus of Nazareth was in fact a real person. My point is that we have no actual proof of what he said or did. The earliest evidence we have of him is the New Testament and if you can't believe that then how can you possibly believe anything about him?

Heck I believe in God too (though I certainly have my doubts from time to time) But I reject belief in the Judeo-Christian God because his supposedly divinely inspired Word and Prophets are full of historical/scientific errors, false prophecies, forgeries, contraditions, absurdities, attrocities ordained by God, etc. In other words it is such an obviously human and thoroughly flawed book that there is no way I can believe that it divinely inspired or true.
