List some great concept albums. Others than the obvious classics... If you know any fantasy/fairytale albums it'd be great coz I'm a RPG fan. :D :D :D :tickled:

Bold ones are essential, IMO. Others are just ones that seem to be held in decent regard in general (but that I wouldn't necessarily endorse personally).

Vanden Plas - Christ0
Symphony X - V: The New Mythology Suite
Shadow Gallery - Tyranny + Room V
Kamelot - Epica + The Black Halo
Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade of Gray (If you listen to nothing else on this list, make it this one.)
Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls
Avantasia - The Metal Opera + The Metal Opera Pt. 2
Sieges Even - The Art of Navigating by the Stars
Yes - Tales from Topographic Oceans
Gryphon - Red Queen to Gryphon Three
Gentle Giant - Interview
Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (Does this count as an obvious classic? Dunno)
Pink Floyd - Animals (Guess it gets a bit overlooked by Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall...)

Sorry if you already know a lot of them. That's all I can think of off the top of my head without dipping into really obvious ones.

It has been mentioned two times before but just to let you know that you really have to (try to) listen to this one - in my opinion still the best album ever made;

Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls

Vanden Plas - The Seraphic Clockwork
Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory
Iced Earth - Framing Armageddon, something Wicked Part 1
and Iced Earth - Crucible of Man, Something Wicked Part 2:Smokedev:

Symphony X - V: The New Mythology Suite
Shadow Gallery - Tyranny + Room V
Pain of Salvation - Remedy Lane
Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle-Earth
Ayreon - Into the Electric Castle
Grave Digger - Tunes of War
Therion - Gothic Kabbalah

I'd say Rhapsody for Fantasy stuff but they make me want to puke these days :D Blind guardian are always a nice choice though, Nightfall in Middle-Earth is nice and A night at the opera, which is seriously underrated. Hansi isnt for everyone though.

Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory
Camel - The Snow Goose
Fates Warning - Awaken The Guardian
Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade Of Gray
Pain Of Salvation - all albums (except the last one)

Ayreon- The Human Equation
Mastodon- Crack The Skye
Iron Maiden- Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Genesis- The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Spock's Beard- Snow

Not fantasy, but you've made a mistake in life if you don't listen to:

Queensryche - Operation:Mindcrime
King Diamond - Abigail, "Them", Conspiracy, House of God, pretty much anything but Give Me Your Soul and Abigail 2
