Milan was absolutely fantastic! Some people called me crazy to travel 8 hours by train down there, but it was so all worth it. Would do it again, that's for sure!

While I would have loved to see/hear King Of Whitewater, I was very pleased with our setlist - I love Banish The Wicked and they didn't play this one at PPE so that made me very happy! :worship:

What can I say, the concert was simply amazing. The sound was very good, the band was in extremely good spirit and the audience was fantastic! The only thing I was missing was decent light, it was rather dark on stage so I had to use the flash to take pictures. *dislike*

"I Want It All" was a huge surprise for me. I didn't expect them to play a cover song, but I think the pick was excellent. Performance was really great and Tommy's vocals were so impressive! LOVED IT! And the audience sang along like crazy. :kickass:

Milan was truly a night to remember! So many people from all the different countries that I had known only from Facebook before, or had only met once or twice before. It was one big party!

And it was a party indeed. The whole evening was a Festival with four bands playing before SW. So they hit the stage between Midnight and 0.30am, playing around 80 minutes. After that the evening was not over, though. I'm not quite sure, but I think the last people left at 3.30am or something. :loco:

One of the best weekends of my life. :worship:

My pictures from Milan + a few other photos from people who attended:

^Danke schön Xandra. Nice work!

Thats not nice. I mean, I dont like that either, in any photographing. Autenthic or natural light is the best to use, no matter what. Still, like those pics. Very sharp and colorful. I guess you used pretty low ISO-values?

Thank you!

I have the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS and I bought it because it's the best compact camera out there. I really dislike flash - because of the lack of colors AND because I don't like to flash the people on stage. I tried to do both in Milan, but all pics without the flash turned out almost black. I think I might have better results on the other side of the stage... well next time! ;)

I have to admit, the PowerShot made those decisions for me. I can do lots of adjustements with the camera, but in a concert situation, I don't have the time to fiddle around too much. The camera has an amazing auto function which brings very, very nice results. :)

Ok, I understand that perfectly! I mean, I used Canon Powershot G11 compact camera few years ago in SW-show at Helsinki and it did pretty nice work in certain autofuctions. Right now I use Nikon systemscamera (old Nikon D70s attm), normally brand new Nikon D700, and I always use manualfunctions and set ISO-values myself even if there's not always much time to do that. Still, I like those pics of your just because them are so colorful! Sometimes taking pics with lightning is not bad choice at all! :)
