controversial movie/book/non-metal music opinions thread

Coffee, especially when it's black, is not bitter at all. I think it's actually quite sweet, and I make my coffee extra strong.

HAHA I should have been more clear. Basically I do not like the sound they make, and even when played well I'd rather hear another instrument or an electric guitar play it. Flamenco is an exception.

Crappy pickups will do that, but nice ones actually can have a very good ring.

I have a Guild and I absolutely love it; it's my favorite guitar that I own.

Nice, yeah perhaps I just have bad luck when it comes to that. I've owned an awesome Taylor, and a Takamine, but both didn't sound great plugged in imo. Then moved on to a Gibson Hummingbird, and finally settled with a Pickup-less Martin Eric Clapton model.I envy you!!!

Dude, I envy you! Martins are great acoustic guitars. The lead singer of my old band played a Martin and it was such a vibrant instrument. I loved the sound of it. Our guitars together sounded really awesome (we used to do acoustic sets at this little bar in downtown Tampa).

You should look around your area for coffee houses, bars, or other places that have live acoustic music sometimes. Granted, you might have to play the stereotypical covers; but you can slip some of your own tunes in there as well.

yeah thats what Im trying to do,I also just got my Buskers Permit. I cant find a band, so fuck it Ill be a solo artist instead! "side's, all my favorite musicians/songs ect are by solo artists, basically.
