Controversial Opeth Opinions

Here are my controversial (for this board, anyway - I think they're actually more in line with what the greater Opeth listening population outside this board thinks) opinions:

Ghost Reveries and Watershed are better albums than anything Opeth did before them.

My Arms, Your Hearse is overrated, and I can't get into the Orchid and Morningrise albums, aside from a few songs.

"The Moor" is a good song, but not deserving to be in a best song poll.

"Blackwater Park" is an overrated song.

I don't know if it's controversial or not, but that's what I think. In my opinion, it surely deserves a place in Top 10 opeth songs.

I think "atonement" is the best instrumental song ever written, and compared to its Hugeness Camel's music sounds like a junkie with a flute in a bar's toilet

I think that Opeth forum posters believe that all opinions are trite, moronic, unworthy of consideration & should be dismissed after a good dosage of flaming........... well, opinions other than their own.

The Moor is the worst song on Still Life.

It completely drags the album down before it even starts.

Godheads Lament is the definitive Opeth song and should have opened the album.
