Mystification is great, but it's drum sound isn't the best and I often find that drum sounds make or break things for me.

Personally I would have to say that Crystal Logic is their album that got the production right. The Deluge making my close second best.

the first half of LOAD is uniformly better than virtually everything on the alternately tryhard/trynothardenough cash-in that is the black album.

I used to actually hate Load, but I've come to the realization lately that if you look at it as a Sabbath-worship album, rather than a Metallica one, it actually has some damn fine moments.

Black Album however, is uniformly shit. No redeeming qualities.

yeah that was always my favourite. 'through the never' has grown on me as well, and i've always loved the first 2 unforgivens tbh (the second one moreso actually).

Ohh, wu tang. Funny thing is i actually had not listened to that album 'till a few days ago, but id probably have to agree with you there. I just cannot listen to most(99%) of the rap that comes from the east coast.
