The purpose of that post was not to criticize first-wave black metal. It was to criticize people that see themselves as too good for Testament (or most other Bay Area thrash beyond 1986).
That's my point.That's weird, no one need nuthin' from Testament
I understand the problems with Practice What You Preach and Souls of Black, but I think both albums are being underrated here. They have some good tracks, as well as some sick moments coming from each member.
Those albums are just too safe and blah. It's basically the social consciousness-period Anthrax problem. That's my least favorite kind of thrash.
My all time fav Testament track is Do or Die.
