Death Metal Bands

And who says you have to love everything a band makes? I like most of the stuff Bloodbath have done except the latest cd and I do think it is a bad idea to release a new dvd judging by the set lists they had last year. I wish they would rather make a new album that will be more in the old school style they used to have.

I won't argue with you, that DOES sound like a better idea! No sarcasm this time lol!

I've enjoyed all of their CD's so I have nothing to bitch about. I will admit TFM was my least favorite overall but it's still better than a lot of Death metal being made out there, and I think it's a solid album overall. NMF is still one of my favorite death metal albums of all time so Bloodbath isn't going to receive flak from me because 1 out of 5 of their releases isn't quite up to par.

I believe the issue (atleast for me) is that we had WAY too much time to anticipate new material from these guys after NMF. Nightmares is hard enough to top as is, let alone all the years building expectations for a new release. Fathomless probably isn't as bad as I see it, but then again Unblessing The Purity raped ass soooo who knows.

I'll buy the DVD regardless though, because I'm a fangirl for these guys.

I cant believe all the low ratings TFM gets around here. Its a fucking masterpiece.

To each their own man, maybe you're one of the few who see as it should be seen. It just doesn't hit home for me, no matter how open I leave myself to the material.

And I agree with the DVD statement over a new cd, but what can you do.
