4 first songs?... well, Serein, Old Heart Falls and Decima are the best, rest is kind of meh so far. You cant compare 4 songs from one album to two other albums.

I like that it sounds fresh again... after TGCD they lost me mainly because it was more of the same thing, I don't overanalyze music I just like it or not...

I think Night is the New Day slays TGCD, TGCD is hitty but lacks the confused, distorted Stockholm darkness of Night.

Similar opinion of the new Kata album. A couple of good songs (and really cool main riff on Takeover). Very boring otherwise.

Giving it a second spin now to see if that makes any difference.
