What do you guys like better? Old school death metal or new school death metal? I definitely say old school. I can't get into the whole overly technical crap in new death metal.

OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD. OLD.

So blatantly.

Both styles can be good and both can suck. I'll listen to whichever band writes better music. Of course there are better old school bands, there have simply been more of them. Old school took a few years to refine itself so I think the musically more complicated newer style will take a while to get on the right track.

I generally like old school death metal better than new death metal, but I also definitely like death metal and black metal better than trad metal. So I'm not an all round old school purist.

Both old and new can be all fine and well with me, though I do prefer bands like Gorod, Spawn of Possession, Psycroptic, Gory Blister, Stargazer, etc.

Old>New, mianly because there are so many bands out there that are just playing like Cannibal Corpse.. just to be heavy and annoying....they lack emotion, which 99% of old school death metal captures.
