It sounded a whole hell of a lot like their first one to me, but it was slightly lacking in the epic department, which is what made the first one as good as it was. There were moments of brilliance on the new one, but overall it was just a really solid album.

I posted the lyrics on metal-archives for all to enjoy and read along. I'm very confident that it's nearly 100% accurate, though some of it was quite tough to figure out.
I highly fucking recommend everyone check out Acid Witch (who have the same vocalist from Phlegethon and more recently, Vacant Coffin and Hooded Menace). It's like psychedellic death/doom with a horror vibe. Really killer stuff!

But Glen said his lyrics always have double meanings, dating back to Carnage In tHe Temple of The Damned, which is a reference to Jim Jones.
