Death Metal

personally I appreciate the nostalgia it raises for pestilence and asphyx but thought the album was meh. I kinda go in and out of enjoying vb's vox...

Oh, and this is actually the first I read about the new MA featuring Vincent again, because apparently I live in a cave or some shit. So, WOOOOOOOO.
 
I heard some Deeds of Flesh today and liked it, it was material from their 2003 album, I've also heard stuff I liked from their more recent stuff. So what Deeds of Flesh would you recommend me?
 
Path Of The Weakening and Mark Of The Legion are their best. I still haven't heard Trading Pieces though, and I don't expect it to be very similar to their modern sound.
 
I've listened to two Deeds of FLesh albums. Although one of them (Trading Pieces) is flat out horrible, the other one, Mark of the Legion, is quite outstanding for even a brutal death metal band. I don't even like brutal death metal that much but these guys are actually pretty decent for one of the worst genres of metal ever.
