unblessing the purity was not amazing but still pretty good. am i the only one who actually likes nmf the most? the production is fucking crushing and i actually like the vocals better. either way i'm pumped for this, everything they've put out so far has been great.

don't get me wrong, i think it borders on essential. in fact it's amazing that album is as enjoyable as it is, leaps and bounds ahead of other such jazz/metal hybrids. it'll never be among my favourites though, it inevitably fucks about a bit too much for my tastes
