Death Metal

I wonder if the shittiness of the album has to do with them being on Century Media now?

I have not heard the new album, but I like The Formulas of Death and it is not released on Century Media. I would assume it is a progression of this album. I listen to Stench also. I doubt it has anything to do with the label and doubt Century Media really give a shit what the bands do. Grave has been on the label for along time besides one album and still play Death Metal. Century Media was founded on DM.

Definitely not a progression of Formulas of Death... Lol.

What's everyones favorite tech death albums so far in 2015? All I can think of right now are Irreversible Mechanism and Alkaloid, both impressed me considering I usually hate tech death.

it's highly unlikely that CM has or had anything to do with the new tribulation sounding like it does. it's just a different approach, not bad for what it is, but nothing too great. some of the songs have a great vibe.

anyhow, the new six feet under is a total pile of shit. ive never been a fan except for one blistering album they put out in 2006 i think. it's awesome. this new one sucks.

All my friends are into tech and metalcore and they make me sick

lol. I like certain bands in each genre. Older technical death metal like Demilich, Atrocity, Atheist, Symbyosis, Pestilence, Nocturnus, Polluted Inheritance, Oppressor, Martyr and stuff like Carcariass, Hieronymus Bosch, Psycroptic, Theory in Practice, etc. I like metalcore along the lines of All Out War, Merauder, Converge, Kickback, Cold as Life, Earth Crisis, Leeway, Congress, Disembodied, etc.

I've only lsitneed to 2 albums this year. One of them being the new Psycroptic ... which i didn't think much of at first, but enjoyed it more the last two times. Need to check out those two albums you mentioned. Anyone here listened to the new Sarpanitum?

technical death metal is one of best metal subgenres ... stop acting like a bunch of sluts.

Yeah basically. Spawn of Possession for example bores the fuck out of me.
lol wow. So let me get this straight, SoP tracks/ albums "just blend together" to your ears?

Irrevesible Mechanism is magnificent. I heard a track or two from Sarpanitum and really enjoyed it. On a related note, I'm very much looking forward to the new Mithras album.
