Death Metal

Also worth mentioning, if Severed Savior counts as tech death, they're fucking awesome. Infinitum is pretty awesome too.

dont really have a favorite, but if i had to pick i'd probably go with Severed Insurrection.

You like SI, but not Spawn of Possession? That album is fukcing sick, but it's basically a lighter, watered down version of Noctambulant. I know it sounds like im talking shit but im not .. it's one hell of a tech death album, but it is clearly a few steps below Noctambulant in just about every possible way.

What do you think of Odious Mortem?

And oh shit, Sickening Horror have a new album out? WTF?!

I've heard Odious Mortem, they were pretty boring honestly, and yeah I like Severed Savior but not Spawn of Possession, they just sound way heavier and more interesting to me. I dunno

I haven't been listening to any new album this year except from the new Venom... I've completely lost the motivation to find something new. I need to get a grip of myself and start exploring the albums of 2015.

Oh yea I've heard Gruesome too. Pre-ordered the vinyl the first day it was available. I'm been wanting to give the new Carach Angren and Drudkh a shot now for a while.

Yeah I've only heard bad things about it, maybe the reason to why I haven't been giving it a chance. So which are the Death Metal releases I need to catch up on?

Sickening Horror new one is good. Pitbulls in the Nursery quietly released a new album. Odious Mortem is also recording.

Luc Lemay announces new 30 minute/single track Gorguts EP.

Agoraphobic News: When can we expect a brand new Gorguts album?

Lemay: By the end of 2015 or early 2016. I have already 2/3 of written. The next record is gonna be a EP. I’ve been wanting to do a EP for a long time. It will be a single track of about 30 minutes…Very dark, ambient, intricate with crazy bass and drum parts!!!!!! I’m totally stoked about the music and I can’t wait to share it with all the fans!!!!
