Death Metal

I'm a cold-hearted killer son. No emotions going on at all. I just wanted Tech to explain why he never seems able to take context into account.

I can admit I have a nostalgia based soft-spot for Cannibal Corpse, but fuck knows how you can listen to Fisher-era. No fucking thanks to that.

Laughs were had over your Behemoth comments by the way. They are the Ghost of death metal.

Rekt.

Get the washer-women drama shit the fuck out of the thread please. Just stop.

-Immolation is one of the greatest bands of our time. "Kingdom of Conspiracy" was a bit of a letdown and somewhat of a misstep, but everything preceding that is untouchable. Majesty and Decay is top 20 death metal albums material IMO.

Yea, newer Immolation is either solid or amazing. The Providence EP was also an unexpected gem for me, great stuff in the vein of Majesty and Decay.

WAY better than Close to a World Below at least

No way. CtaWB is probably Immolation at their best. The new stuff is good, but if im looking for my Immolation fix, this is my go to album.

So has anyone heard Distance | Collapsed yet? Does it hold up to the diSEMBOWELMENT pedigree? Been too busy with the new Dream Death and Church of Misery albs to give it a listen yet.

It's fucking massive. Doesn't touch diSEMBOWELMENT but that's not saying much if you ask me. I recommend it for what it's worth.

Vader has kinda always been meh, but Immolation.... consistently putting out badass material.

But i remember you saying how awesome morbid Reich was.

It's not my fault that your reading comprehension seems to be constantly failing you. Out of everyone here, you were the only one who seemed to have trouble with that post.

but I guess that answers his question..
Nah, my memory is usually super sharp. I have a feeling i just might be mixing him up with someone else here, but i doubt it.

Morbid Reich is pretty solid, it was my go to album when it came out when I was out doing errands on the weekend. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but some nice easy listening death metal that puts me in a good mood. Better than Behemoth at least.

My favorite album from Vader is definitely Litany. At first I hated the production, but the energy on this album is killer.
