Death Metal

So has anyone heard Distance | Collapsed yet? Does it hold up to the diSEMBOWELMENT pedigree? Been too busy with the new Dream Death and Church of Misery albs to give it a listen yet.

it's an okay death/doom album. no where near as good as disembowelment but nothing is really. it's missing the ethereal melodies that contrast the brutality in diembowelment

Majesty and decay is good but dawn of possession and failures for gods are quite a bit better. Here in after could be one of their best but the production gets to me sometimes. Never got into unholy cult or close to a world below.
I've been spinning black to the blind a lot lately. I'd say that's their best, with litany close behind. Some of their more recent albums have been a lot better than expected though. I thought that after the beast, they were going to descend slowly into crap territory.

Death Metal is not old you faggots. Jazz is old..

Anyway, picked this up on a whim yesterday and FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU this like like Sulphur Aeon level shit:

after listening to two Psycroptic albums in the past week and being bored to tears by them both, I will listen to no more. I'm on a streak of listening to bad music. It happens.

Anyway, currently listening to Aeon - Bleeding the False and am moderately pleased. A little cheesy but the musicianship is good. I'll get the rest of their discography a try.

Also what's up with Sardantum or whatever @The Ozzman? Maybe I'll queue that up for today.
