today i've been told i'll be taken care of "like a beautiful tropical lichen flower". i'm sure it just means i'll be watered and kept all day in the sun, but it was sweet nonetheless.
 
Did you know that one of the guys who competed in Men's Pole Vault today (and whose name i didn't notice), did this: \m/ when he jumped a certain height (probably 5.75)?

I just went completely, absolutely, and totally braindead then, wondering how you could possibly have a time of 6 minutes and 66 seconds, and also why the hell they timed the pole vault. :/
