Well, I find discussions about God can be quite interesting, because it involves a lot of general experiences and truths about live. Even if you end up totally disagreeing, you can still have learned a lot there. Only you need to have a bit of respect for the other one's opinion and be critical towards your own one, too.

So I think Tut is wrong calling for a stop of discussions about that subject, only he's right for calling for an end of discussions of THAT sort, they won't lead far...

I beleive in God. I also believe it is possible to prove His existence, but not through his working miracles, which as stated can never be proven. However Rene Descartes gave the best explanation of God through "Cogito ergo sum" or I think therefore I am. Think about, because we think we exist, but is anyhting perfect? No, so therefore we must have been created by something perfect, because we have an understanding of what perfection is. I don't care if anyone else believes it or not, but I thought I'd throw the idea out to everyone.

If you look at the concepts developped you'll see Kant parted from similar views and came to the opposite conclusion
Same as Feuerbach who tried to proove God's nonexistence...
A Priest took his theory and claimed to have found proof FOR God's existance...
