“HYBOREA” is the title of our forth-coming debut release… Nine hymns of reckoning, a collection or culmination of dark harmony… gathered under the watchful expertise of Shiva Industries’ audio wizard John Haddad for a Fall 06’ release with Grau Records Germany… titles include “The Ravening”, “To Reach Emptiness”, “Seeking Fury, Becoming Wrath”, “Mercurial”, “Burning Away…”, “Nightbringer”, “Where Dead Kings Lie”, “Speaker of the Suns”, and “Hyborea”…

We are in the middle of recording our debut for GRAU... we are almost 1/2 way done... the drums and distorted guitars are laid... we have the rest of this week to add clean guitars, acoustic guitars, and bass guitar... I'm glad we got things started for them, I really hope that we win over alot of people so we can tour more appropriately.

is there anything that sounds similar to Morgion's "Solinari", in both style and quality of execution?

or is it simply the best doom/death album ever released?

I thought Morgion's last album was their best.

But anyway, what about Evoken or Disembowelment, J? As far as doom/death goes, I probably turn to Evoken most often.

I think, you guys need to listen to Beprasmybe (Vacuity). Lithuanian Funeral/Drone Doom. Pretty grim and dark stuff. A little psychodelic. Very atmospheric.
And again - one person project.

Just pulled out Transcendence into the peripheral for the first time in awhile. This is the absolute pinnacle of doom/death (besides dusk)...so good.The atmosphere of 'a burial at ornans' is just astounding.
