Orodruin is indeed a good contemporary Doom band, as noted. The Tolkien name draws me in, and the band executes nicely. I second Zephyrus recommendation of Cirith's 'King of the Dead.' A really fantastic, old school act. I really want to get a shirt with their classic logo on it, I love that shit.

I bought Frost and Fire, King of the Dead and One foot in Hell a while back from Century Media or Metal Blade (can't remember which one...) when they were on sale...10$ for all 3 including shipping (the cds were brand new and only 2$ each). You can't beat this.
