Why Can't I Register Using My (banned) Email?
If your registration is rejected due to the email address you are attempting to use it is because enough scumbag Spammers have registered using that email provider (the part that comes after the '@') to the point that we have decided to just deny any new registrations using it.

 this just gets more interesting as I go along

New Dark Age

Mournful Congregation is the one I'll mention (was alredy touched on before), but it is absolutely essential. I found The Monad of Creation to be one of the most rewarding re-listens I have ever developed an appreciation for. It's 4 songs between 10 and 20mins each, and I had to listen to each aroun 10 times before I started enjoying them, but its well worth it.
I could'nt agree more. Monad is a complete masterpiece. For funeral/extreme/doom fans, Mournful Congregation will be releasing their new album in Oct/Nov, according to drummer Andrew Bickle. Skepticism's new one "Alloy" release is Oct 20. Pantheist-mystical and atmospheric death/doom with funeral attributes will release their new album on Oct 15. Some of these dates may be subject to change, you know what I mean? The Maniacal Vale-Esoteric, is the fucking metal album of 2008. Get your hands on all Esoteric.

I finally bought Epicus Doomicus Metallicus and I already want Nightfall this instant! I hate myself for taking this long to get into Candlemass. In their honor I'm resurrecting this thread.

Indeed. Probably THE greatest doom metal album (well, I'd say Black Sabbath, Vol. 4 and Master of Reality top it by a little).

The Bizarre Reverend's side of the Ritual Steel split is one of my most favorite awesome things. This part in particular:

"The leader of the pack was Angel
a girl with mesmerizing eyes
dominating all with her beauty
her psychic strength and dirty lies

That kind of girl I'd like to have here
by my side on this filthy sheet
watching TV and drinking beer
touched by the claw of the Devil's breed

There's blood on the claw of Satan!!!"

The 20th Anniversary set with Johan was like, one of the greatest things ever.

A SORCERER'S FUCKING PLEDGE indeed.

I prefer Nightfall (my favorite album from any band) over EDM just a little bit. And yeah, A Sorcerers Pledge is absolutely fucking astonishing. When I saw them, they played it as the last song of their set (not counting the encore, which ended on motherfuckin Samarithan :kickass:). Fucking awesome song to end on.

I consider Candlemass my overall favorite band.
