I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of seeing "Annoyed at Damnation" at the top of the page.

I just woke up from a nap and cranked up Damnation, and Windowpane just slapped me in the face with those beautiful guitar lines...

You know how your parents have music that they listened to when they were younger that they have held on to all their life, and then they show it to you?

Damnation will be (one of them anyway...) an album I show to the kids...

Damnation is a great one time album I dont think Opeth would be complete without at least one album like this.

I'm actually tired of seeing ALL that Damnation-bashing on this forum... the official release date is still a month away (well for us non-Aussies at least ) and the album is already ripped apart and torn to shit.

If I was Mikael and saw this mess here I would REALLY call it quits.

At first the album was kind of a let down but Closure is an amazing song and got rid of the album being a let down. It is great.

Why are all you guys so afraid to criticize the album? I think it's very fair that a percentage of the fanbase feels the album is sub-par and therefore want to express their views here. Nothing wrong with that.

Bad points - The end of Closure, ermm, and, ummmm...the song Weakness. Thats about it.

It sounds pretty much perfect to me...I don't see why I should apologise for having pretty much no real complaints.
