Am I the only person here who performs sci-fi in its written form instead of the visual? Don't get me wrong, there are some science fiction movies that I cherish with my mortal soul, but ultimately I get more enjoyment from the written word. As successful as some series and movies have been at creating alternate universes, nothing can substitute for the power of imagination when interpreting works of fantasy...

Ha, I cant take Sci Fi in its written form because I honestly dont care for sci-fi in any form. I understand your point, I hate when books I have read are tunred into movies, they usually ruin ones imagination.

I suppose I have to be spell bound by a sci-fi movie- either its special effects or the story being decent to be surprised- otherwise I just dislike sci fi.
