Thrash is number one in my book. Though I enjoy most forms of metal.

I don't really know what you're getting at, but ok.

I've been getting into a lot of death metal recently.

I enjoy metal across the board
specifically i have been getting into the more melodic side of things recently. I do enjoy thrash, expecially old school thrash. And just good heavy metal music

ranges from Arcturus to Ved Buens Ende...I'm leaning more towards the Ved Buens Ende, Fleurety "avant garde/bizarro" end of the realm. Dodheimsgard. Meads of Asphodel. There was a thread not too long ago with a listing of what few "post black metal" bands there are.
