Chalice are simply amazing and "An Illusion To The Temporary Real" was my #1 Album of 2001. You must hear these guys. There's two chicks(who are easy on the eyes to say the least)- one on vox and one on flute.
Also, older The Third And The Mortal are good.
White Willow are really good too; very progressive.

For older stuff, check out GirlSchool and Rock Goddess.
And if you can find it...Ice Age from Sweden.

The new Scanner album from last year "Scantropolis" wasn't bad either. Hope this helps.
