Hey first post here... just wondering what you guys think of Folk Metal? I just got into Wuthering Heights, and I think they are amazing... anyone else got some good ones to throw at me, thanks!

[Narg n Lamb]

Ensiferum is a great folk metal band. Dragonheads is probably their most folk concetrated album. Iron is more on the power metal side of their music; all in all Jari Maenpaa is a kick ass guitarist and song writer
There is also the Danish band Tyr, but I haven't really heard their music yet. I don't even know why the hell i mentioned them other then that they are a folk metal band

Early Vintersorg is - you'd have to be a tool to not hear the folk in that.

Anyways, my favorite folk metal bands are:

Agalloch, Primordial, and Empyrium. These three bands put all other bands of the style to complete shame - even if I love alot of it.
