I imagine so

Buried Inside is a grindy/sludgey metalcore band and that specific album is spectacular. A concept album about time itself



Adorior is super hateful death/black metal, the M-A review of that album mentions it being a black/death update of Darkness Descends and I think that's pretty apt



Ira I'm less sure on simply because I'm not sure where you stand on atmospheric sludge styled stuff, if you like it at all you should love Ira, if not then take a pass



p.h.o.b.o.s. is the one I think you'll appreciate even if you don't necessarily like it.

Super crushing and bleak, the only metal album other than Streetcleaner that I can think of that takes cues from real industrial music and isn't simply edm metal

I'm sure Hvis Lyset Tar Oss would do quite poorly indeed in the 1993 poll. Besides, 1993 was a stronger year for death doom metal than for anything trad. I would think you would be more worried about Count Raven garnering more votes than either diSEMBOWELMENT, My Dying Bride, or Katatonia.

1993 and 1994 are both good for me. Plenty of great black metal.
