Well I personally agree, but sometimes you have to compromise. Like in the case of finding a 24 fret Explorer-shape with a FR for a reasonable price.

One thing I have noticed about a 24 fret guitar is I only use the 24th fret on the 1st or high E string. I'd settle for a 22 fret guitar with a 24th fret for like that string only like some of the acoustics that have creative fretboard ends. Would it mess with the intonation or anything though?
EDIT: something like this but more even http://www.davemegmusic.co.uk/fretboard_first.jpg like 22 frets for the 3-6th strings and then a normal 24th fret for the 1st string and like a half 24th fret (or 23rd?) for the 2nd string so its like a wave or something :s

Seriosuly, Roope has a banana/dick headstock, but that guy has just an uglyass headstock, plus cuts on the body are done on the back, not on the front. Also, the fretboard has the cool fret stuff, but otherwise looks like the fretboard on my brother's cheap Strat copy.

I actually didn't like the guitar at first, but it's really grown on me. Though it helps that I really do like his playing as well. Though I do see how others would find that to be a weird/ugly guitar. The inlays are also kind of boring, I never did like simple dots.
