what sort of pick ups are the esp alexi models supposed to have?
on the esp website they say it should have emg f-h2 pick ups and on some other sites and ebay sellers say it has emg hz pick ups or something...
help please!
RR3's are abundant, ive played 10+ different RR3's, from stores and owners, low and high action, different pu's and even one with a swapped bridge, NEVER liked it
Does it really matter?
Get it and change to the pickup you want.
To me it honestly does. Im gonna spend 1300 dollars at least on the guitar so I wanna make sure things are the way there meant to
Is it easy to change pick up's anyway? Coz ive only had one guitar for the past 2 and a half years now and I havent really messed around with it apart from the strings, tuning and other small things.
Lol. Depending on how good you are with a soldering iron and knowing your way around the guitar, changing pickups can be a 15 minute job, depending on the guitar ofc.
Seriously, its better to get the guitar you like to PLAY on, and spend a fraction of the price and a tiny bit of time to change the pickups to get the sound you want as well. Instead of using eternity to find the pickup configuration you like in the perfect instrument, which most likely is not gonna happen ever, unless you're willing to fork out big $$$//£££ for a custom guitar.
To me there isnt much of a difference between the hz-4 and the f-h2 its just that i wanna know which one is supposed to come wiith the guitar. and are they both alexi sig pick ups? i just remembered that he has his own emg's...
Jason Becker tabs, Paul Gilbert song books, masterclass lessons, Metallica book, Michael Angelo book, Ritchie Kotzen, Rusty Cooley books, Attack by Yngwie, Shawn Lane books, Sound Engineering -Advice On Mixing (which I obviously have not read LOL!) and a few other bits 'n' bobs...
I've also got some things like Buckethead lesson, Paul Gilbert mag scans, etc.
